James Martin Obituary
After being diagnosed with stage four lung and brain cancer, Jim fought with unwavering courage, grace and dignity.
Jim was a graduate of McKinley High School class of 1979. He worked for 38 years at Ellet Upholstery in Akron.
Jim was survived by his spouse, Jon Schuster, his sisters, Karen and Linda and brother Mike. Jim was also cherished by two nieces, Miranda and Kayla Martin and nephew, Dylan Martin, sister-in-law Jennifer Cline, along with many friends and family.
Jim's warmth and generous spirit will be remembered forever. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and compassion that lives on in all of us.
A Celebration of Life to honor Jim will be held at a later date ...
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. And rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again. May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
