James “Jabo” May, born February 24, 1945 passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Powell, TN on December 31, 2025. He is preceded in death by his mother, Wilma May and father, James May Sr. Jabo is survived by his sister, Jean Smith and close-friend, Betty Trent, who cared for him for several years. A special thank you to Brenda Lambert, Debbie Clark, and Glenna Napier for their care.
A graveside service will be held on January 7, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating.
