Although I didn't personally know him, I grew up hearing his voice in many of my favorite video games.

James was truly talented and will be missed by many.

My Condolences.

To the McCaffrey family, my deepest condolences..what a great guy...if you grew up in albany, chances are you knew jimmer McCaffrey...He was polite ,funny.good natured ,highly intelligent ,handsome,cool and humble as hell...and when he left to.pursue his career it was inevitable that whatever he chose to do he would excel..what a natural actor..I think we were all SO PROUD of him...it was always a treat to be watching something and there he is!!! Just poppin up doin what he does..knockin it outta the park..way to go jimmer.you will surely be missed.may god bless you all ..

Jimmer and I knew each other from working in Albany area bars. He moved to Boston and when I wound up moving there several years later he helped me find work and find my way around. We spent some fun summer afternoons in the bleachers at Fenway Park working on our tans and just enjoying Red Sox baseball. He was a nice person who made those around him feel appreciated and cared for.

Everyday while walking to school (VI), Ginger and I would run into Jimmer and Clifford (also heading to VI).
I remember Jimmer being quiet and shy and always wearing the John Lennon sunglasses.
Who knew then he would be a famous actor.
My condolences to his family and childhood friends.

RIP Jimmer!

Rest in Peace James. If someone still plays Max Payne it's because of you. Your deep smooth voice and perfect humor. I never know you in person but your death make cry people like me, my condolences to your family. Take Care Jim. Thank you for all good and fun childhood memories.

James, you will be missed dearly. I am so very lucky our lives crossed paths. Your fan, always.

In High school he drew my sister, Lin Harder, a picture of Clint Eastwood, Jimmer was an amazing artist and man.
