I met Mr. McDaniels about a year and a half ago when he lived across the hall from my mom in assisted living at Clarendale. I loved it when I got to bump into him in the hallway and got to have a conversation with him. He was so much fun to talk to!
My mom moved down to the memory care unit about a year ago, so I didn´t get to see Mr. McDaniels very much after that. But then one day I went to visit my mom and there was Mr. McDaniels, coming out of his room in the memory care unit, across the hall from my mom`s room. I was so excited to see him. I knew he didn´t remember me, but I didn´t care. It just made my heart happy to see him again.
When I found out that Mr. McDaniels passed away, it made my heart so sad. He truly was a very, very special man!
My condolences to his family and all of his friends. He will be missed by all!
