James (Joe) McFarland age 85 went to his Heavenly Home Friday August 1, 2025, at 2:45 am surrounded by his loving family.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and enjoying nature. Also, a dedicated member of Lake Hills Church Of God.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Elsie McFarland, brother Charles (Mike) McFarland and grandson Jamey McCormick.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Genny McFarland, 3 children Anita (Nena) McCormick, Troy (Stacy) McFarland, Ginger (Alan) Harris and brother Truman McFarland.
7 Grandchildren, Sabrina (Jonathan) Haddock, Amanda (Nathaniel) Emerson, Brennan (Misty) Huffaker, Thomas (Cheyanne) Edwards, Hannah (Dylan) Maxwell, Landon and Joshua McFarland.
11 Great Grandchildren Rosie, Lily, Madison,Kenny, Breanna (Dalyn), Kensley, Heidi,Dezmond,Reign, Delilah, Violet.
Services will be conducted Wednesday, August 6, 2025, 2:00 at Companion Funeral Home Ridge Chapel, Rev Larry Nash oficiating. The family will receive friends two hours before, beginning at 12:00 Noon. Joe will be laid to rest at Price Cemetery in McDonald, TN.
