James McKee Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jardine Funeral Home, Inc. - Strongsville on Dec. 5, 2025.
James Edward McKee, 53, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on December 3rd, 2025.

James was born on June 9th, 1972, to Barbara McKee in West Palm Beach, Florida.

James attended Max Hayes High School. An often quiet and observant man, he was a lifelong employee of Professional Roofing Service. He took extreme pride in his work and always loved pointing out the buildings he had helped put roofs on during family trips, no matter how many times he passed them, like any typical dad. He was also fond of many other dad jokes. There was nothing he loved more than spending time with his family or yelling at his TVs on Sundays watching the Browns game.

Taken too soon, he is survived by his spouse, Shannon McKee, and two teen children, Keith and Josh. He was a loving father with a twinkle in his eye whenever he had a chance to tease his children and his wife. James was predeceased by his mother, Barbara McKee. He is survived by his siblings, Robert McKee (wife Debbie McKee) and Jeanette Brown (husband Bill Brown).

ALL SERVICES ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 8TH, 2025. A memorial gathering will be held at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road Strongsville, OH 44136 on Monday, December 8th, at 3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 6:30 p.m.
