James McKinney Obituary
James "Jim" Egbert McKinney, 90, of Little Rock, AR, went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2024, in Little Rock. Jim was born in Marion, Illinois, on April 23, 1934, to the late James and Vestle McKinney. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Shirley; his son, James Gregory; his parents; and his brother. Jim is survived by his two daughters, Sherry Howerton (Dave) and Brenda Ball (David); his six loving grandchildren; a host of precious great-grandchildren who lovingly called him "PaJim"; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; two brothers and his sister. After surviving serious burns to his body as a young adult, he grew in his faith and commitment to the Lord. He was known as faithful, fair, and caring, always with a funny reply and a big smile.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Crystal Hill Baptist Church, Little Rock, AR
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crystal Hill Baptist Church.
Arrangements entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home.
