James McMichen Obituary
Mr. James Daniel McMichen, age 90, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025. The family will receive friends and family members on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 2pm until 4pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
Born in Cartersville, GA, Mr. McMichen moved to Powder Springs in 1964. After retiring as a Pressman from Star Packaging, he worked as a driver with Enterprise for 15 years. He attended DeFoor Baptist Church in Atlanta, and enjoyed fishing and cooking. He is preceded in death by his wife, Katie McMichen, in 2022.
Survivors include: 2 sons, David McMichen, Powder Springs, GA, and Darrell (Mary) McMichen, Acworth, GA; daughter, Debbie Kay (David) Sorrells, Grantville, GA; 2 siblings, Charles McMichen, Thomaston, GA, and Linda (Billy) Howard, Tyrone, GA; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
