James Meigs Obituary
Mr. Meigs Jr. passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026. He was born on October 26, 1948, in Daviston, Alabama to James Floyd Meigs Sr. and Vida Sue Welch Meigs. He was an active member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Gina M. (Andy) Milner, Jamie M. (Jason) Wilkerson; grandchildren, Josie Barnett, Julianna Milner, Evan Milner, Waylon Wilkerson; great-grandchildren, Briella and Remi; brothers, Joe (Ann) Meigs, Eli Meigs and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Carey Meigs, Rebecca Meigs, Gaines Meigs, and Sue Wilkerson.
