James Thomas Messier

Jim helped with the initial planning of the Machia Wilderness Camp, for which we are ever grateful. He was a member of the board, taught several of the classes during the week long day camp, and when health limited his activities he remained involved in many ways with the camp. He became a good friend to me, always encouraging me as I worked to develop the camp - the vision of my late husband, and close friend of Jim's, Larry Machia. His phone calls and visits will be greatly missed.
