James Cody Miller was born on March 20, 1993 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of Jimmy Darrell Davis, II and Fannie Ann Miller.
On October 23, 2023, he was united in marriage to Cassidy Frazier, who survives.
Cody worked as a truck driver for Z and A Trucking. He enjoyed being outdoors, riding four wheelers, and going fishing. Cody was always known as the life of the party anywhere he went. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. He was always playing games and made any occasion fun. More than anything, Cody loved his family and cherished the time he spent with his wife and sons. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
James Cody Miller departed this life on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 in Pocahontas, Tennessee, at the age of 32 years, 8 months, and 13 days.
He is survived by his wife, Cassidy Miller; sons, Jace Miller, Ledger Miller, and Bridger Miller; stepson, Sawyer Pickett; mother, Fannie Ann Miller; father, Jimmy Darrell Davis, II; grandmother, Fannie Mae Miller; brothers, Greg Miller, Chris Miller, and Colby Thomas Miller; sisters, Kimberly Miller, Cheyenne Miller, and Autumn Miller; sisters in law, Kelsey Pickens and Shantina Frazier; brothers in law, Heath Frazier, Reed Franks, Stephen Long, and Christian Walker (Tiffany), and Jacob Neill; nieces and nephews, Easton Miller, Brandon Ponds, Bentley Stephens, Mason McDonald, Sophia Miller, Creed Miller, Weston Miller, Addy Harville, Aurora Killingsworth, Stormy Howard, Saylor Walker, Aspen Walker, Raelynn Leonard, Lilly Brown, Brody Long, and Brylen Long; and uncle, Roy Charles Davis.
Cody was preceded in death by his uncle, Michael Davis; aunt, April Davis; and grandparents, Thomas Earl Miller and Jimmy Darrell Davis, I.
