I am shocked and deeply saddened by this. Jay had always been very good to me and my family with keeping an aggravating modernish car on the road that needed repairs I couldn't always do myself. The last time I saw him, he had just done an front end alignment on my pride and joy, a '68 Plymouth Fury. We had a great conversation about the alignment and how much he enjoyed the test drive. Jay was in great spirits and he asked me about another old car I would be eventually bringing to him.
Jay was also not just a great human being but also a walking library of automotive knowledge that he used to help a lot of people. It's a loss bigger than I can describe. Our hearts go out to Heather and the family.
