With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of James E. “Jim" Moore, Jr. on March 5, 2026 in The Villages, Florida. Jim was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, proudly served in the Air Force and raised his family in Palatine, Illinois.
Jim was the beloved husband of the late Patricia "Trish" (nee Hogan) Moore and loving father of Robert and William Moore; dear son of the late James and Rosemary (nee Anderson) Moore; fond brother of Patrick, Thomas (Eileen) Moore, Daniel (Jeanne) Moore, Susan (James) Blake,Terrence (Elizabeth) Moore, David (Teresa) Moore, the late Robert Moore, the late Mary (Christopher Jans) Galbavy; and beloved uncle to many. Jim will be fondly remembered as the Patriarch of the Moore family and his incredible generosity to his great nieces and nephews.
