Jim was born in Ashland City, Tennessee on December 11, 1942, to the late Robert Morris and Marie (Simmons) Morris. He is preceded in death by daughters, Misa Marks and Rachel Ashworth; brother, Bart Morris; and sister, Judy Ann Sensing.
He served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Emma Jo Morris; son, Clint Morris; brothers, Danny Morris (Joyce) and George Thomas (Jennifer); sisters, Betty Gossett, Glenda Williams, and Kathy Essary (Tom); 5 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
A family service will be planned at a later date.
