Jim was a great guy! We would always see him at morning mass, and have coffee later. When my husband could no longer go, because of health problems, Jim would call Ray to talk with him. It was so thoughtful of Jim, and Ray really appreciated it. I always enjoyed talking with Jim. He will be missed.

We moved to J-Town in 2004 from the Westport Rd area. That´s when I first met Jim having coffee downstairs in the old church after morning weekday masses. Everyone was so welcoming, especially Jim. Back then we also worked in the cafeteria 4 or 5 times together.
However this was 10 years ago. I say this because lately I saw Jim about once a year at church. When I saw Jim at mass 2 months ago he said, " Hi Dave". At 95 & seeing each other about once a year he still knew my name.
What a fun guy to talk with. God bless

Josie and I extend our sincere condolences to Jim's family. He and Eileen were friends for many years. He will be missed at the Fish Fries, sitting on his stool at the front door, smiling to all.

Jim and I met Jim Moss in church. He was very welcoming and friendly. I also experienced his wisdom and kindness in our Thursday morning Bible sharing group. When we were traveling back to Louisville on an airplane Jim was sitting in front of us and he took our picture. He never forgot that time. We were privileged to know him.

Jim was a great friend. We had wonderful times at St Michael´s working on different committees. He and Eileen were one of the first couples we met at St Michael´s. His welcoming ways will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Oh, what a tremendous loss to the family and the community. Jim was one of a kind. A true friend to anyone who cared to share a word or two with him. I was privileged to get to know him better on our short rides to Thursday morning studies and Mass. Jim was always the "welcomer", and he frequently made personal efforts to check up on those who may have left his beloved St. Michaels regardless of their next destination. Jim, you have earned your reward-a Heaven that you were always prepared for.

I have many memories of one of my favorite people in this world! He loved to share and share he did of his beloved birds in his yard always wanting to know more! I miss this man in my life every day! He stayed close to God always coming to Mass even very recently. Our Scripture Bible Study was very small but he participated as long as he could sharing his love of God. I am sure he was escorted to Heaven by a host of Angels curious to see the face of God!
