James Michael "Jim" Mott, of Gillett, PA, born on November 15, 1958, in Elmira, NY, passed away on November 10, 2025, in Sayre, PA. He was 66 years old.
Jim owned his own car dealership, earning the respect and trust of his community through his dedication and integrity. In his youth, Jim had a passion for racing and proudly owned his own racecar, a testament to his adventurous spirit and love for the thrill of the track.
Above all, Jim cherished the time he spent with his family and friends, especially with his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Terry Lee (Wade) Mott of Gillett, PA; sons Jamie W. (Susan) Mott of Hannibal, NY, Timothy J. (Alisha) Mott of Sayre, PA, and Robert S. (Michelle) Mott of Woodhull, NY; daughter Billie Jo Burdick of Elmira, NY; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his siblings David (Georgette) Noyes, Rebecca Noyes, Mike (Michelle Coryea) Noyes, Laura Noyes, Ray (Valerie) Noyes, Donald Noyes, and Angel (David) Burgess and special friends Steven Comfort, his daughters, and Duke McQuarry.
He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Noyes, mother Shirley (Smith) Hull, daughter Trina L. Lowe, siblings Kenneth Mott, Cathy Grayson, Tami Roy, Kal Noyes, Kevin Noyes, and David Charles Noyes, and grandparents John and Helen Matthews and Raymond and Agnes Noyes.
A memorial service to celebrate Jim's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Wellsburg Community Church, 3662 Front St., Wellsburg, NY 14894. Roberts Funeral Home, 279 Main St., Wellsburg, NY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the Wellsburg Community Church, 3662 Front St., Wellsburg, NY 14894.
