James Myers Obituary
1932 ~ 2021
Santa Clara, Utah—James Levi Myers Jr., 89 passed peacefully from his earthly home on Wed, July 28, 2021. Jim was born March 6, 1932 to James Levi Myers and Ora Excell Myers of Panguitch, Utah. He spent his childhood and teenage years hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He was an avid outdoorsman and athlete. He also had a great love for the Panguitch Bobcats!
After graduating from High School he attended Utah State University. In October 1952 Jim was drafted into the Signal Corp of the Army during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in October of 1954.
On June 12,1952 Jim married Juddith Ann Cameron in the Salt Lake City Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Six children were born to this union, Randy, Debbie, Dianna, Geina, Darla and Michael. They were later divorced.
On January 20, 1972 Jim married Eldora Morast. She brought two children to the marriage, Lynn Morast and Vicky Kennedy. Together they had Wade Myers.
Jim ran a successful tire business with stores from Evanston, WY to Las Vegas, NV until his retirement.
He is survived by his children, Randy (Jeanne) Myers, Debbie Myers, Geina Foldesi, Darla (Dave) Lloret, Michael Myers, Wade Myers; step-children Lynn (Terresa) Morast and Vicky (Shane) Kennedy; son-in-law Pat Wall; sisters Gwen Brown and Elva (Gaydon) Mortensen; and brother Ned (Beverly) Myers; 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eldora; parents; daughter, Dianna Wall; grandson Trenton Judd Due; and brother-in-law Lawrence Brown.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 2, 2021, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where viewings will be held Sunday August 1st, 6-8p.m., and Monday, August 2nd, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, 2:00p.m. at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, UT 84065
