James Napier III, a bright light in the lives of many, was born on May 5, 1990. He left this world on August 23, 2024, at Scheck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana. His warm and happy spirit will be profoundly missed.
James was a beacon of joy, known for his infectious smile and his ability to greet anyone he met with a friendly hello. His personality radiated positivity—he was always in a good mood and never complained. James had a genuine love for those around him, and he blessed the lives of countless friends who cherished him dearly.
A proud 2011 graduate of Seymour High School, James was also a member of the Seventh Day Adventist community. His zest for life extended to his hobbies, including his fondness for the captivating music of bluegrass and gospel, which filled his heart with joy. He found solace in watching "The Golden Girls," a show that brought laughter and comfort to his days.
James shared a special bond with his mother, Darla (Stout) Smith, finding delight in moments spent together when she would play her guitar and sing. He brought so much happiness to her life, and their cherished memories will forever be a source of strength. He is also survived by his father, James T. Napier Jr., and his wife Angie from Brownstown, Indiana, who likewise hold his warm spirit close to their hearts, as do his brothers, Christopher Stout and Roger Brock, and his beloved maternal grandmother, Martha Thompson of Seymour, Indiana.
James held a deep affection for his grandfather figure, Frank Smith, who had a profound impact on his life. Although Frank has passed on, the love and lessons he imparted will forever remain in James's heart.
As we celebrate the life of James Napier III, we honor the joy he brought to everyone he met. His memory will remain alive in the warm smiles, heartfelt music, and loving friendships he leaves behind.
