James Nardozza Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Aria Cremation Service and Funeral Home - Preston Road on Jan. 29, 2026.
Born on September 19th, 1955, in Dallas, Texas, Jim Nardozza passed away on January 12th, 2026, in his hometown of Dallas.

He was the beloved son of Lois Jane and Giuseppe Nicola Nardozza, both of whom preceded him in death. James was also preceded in death by his wife, Susan Whaley, whose memory he carried with him always.

He is survived by his children, Palma de Charmoy and Roman Nardozza and his son-in-law, Luke de Charmoy. James is also survived by his elder brother and sister, Joe and Laura Nardozza, his niece, Melisa Nardozza, and many beloved relatives in New York and Florida.

He leaves behind many lifelong friends, those of whom he graduated with from W. T. White High School and those he made during his global travels.

James was an avid reader and especially enjoyed books on astronomy, history, and espionage, subjects that reflected both his curiosity about the universe and his interest in the complexities of human affairs. He spent many hours in the gym and prided himself on his athletic discipline. He was also a devoted fan of the Dallas Stars hockey team and followed their games with enthusiasm and loyalty.

James will be remembered for his intellect, his sense of humor, and his bemusing demeanor, which exuded both willfulness and affability.
