Funeral service for James "Jimmy" Niles, 82, will be Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Callahan and Bro. Nathan Green officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 5, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Niles passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born October 12, 1942, in Morgan County, to William Howard Niles and Angie Elnora Drinkard Niles.

He was employed by Monsanto as a Bale-Press Operator, prior to his retirement. Mr. Niles was a United States Marine Corp Veteran and served in Vietnam. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his parents, four brothers- Jackie Niles, Roger Niles, Donald Niles, and Denis Randall, and a sister Patricia Smith.

Survivors include
Wife - Hilda Fay Harris Niles,

Daughters- Vicky Callahan (Michael),
Kim Green (Nathan),
Robbin Schutlz (Mike), and
Tracy Kauffman (Chris),

Brother - Micky Randall (Renda),

Thirteen Grandchildren, and

Sixteen Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be John Garrison, Dusty Pena, Colby Graham, Jamie Kauffman, Tony McCluskey, and Randy McNutt.
