James Nolan Obituary
James Nolan entered into rest on January 7, 2022.
Beloved son of the late Raymond and Catherine Nolan; loving cousin to Dorothy, Barbara, Patricia, Peter and Cathleen; cousin-in-law to Jerry and Leon, Tom, and George; loving second cousin to John, Daniel, Patrick, Jeanne, Michael, Joseph and Theresa and extended family; beloved friend, baseball coach, mentor and volunteer of many organizations including Inwood-Manhattan Little League, Good Shepherd Men's Club, St. Joseph's Council #443 of the Knights of Columbus and Good Shepherd Parish. Jimmy was selfless with his time in support of many charitable causes and generous with his time and resources to so many people throughout the community.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 5pm to 9pm at the Riverdale Funeral Home, 5044 Broadway, New York, N.Y. 10034.
Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, January 15,2022 at 9:30 am at Good Shepherd RC Church, 4967 Broadway, New York, NY 10034.
Interment will follow on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Gate of Heaven, 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to:
Inwood-Manhattan Little League, Good Shepherd Men's Club, St. Joseph's Council #443 of the Knights of Columbus or Good Shepherd Parish

God bless Jim. We were classmates at Cardinal Spellman High School. I have seen him at our class reunions every 5 years. He will be missed. So sorry to hear this news. Peace and rest in heaven Jimmy boy.

Jim was my manager when I played for 581, and was an ump for many of the games I played when I was on DSC; he was a knowledgeable baseball guy, tough but fair with us kids. Years later we bumped into each other now and again at the American Legion and at Good Shepherd events- always had a kind word for me.
