Born on November 29, 1956, in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of Norman and Cecilia Parish. Jim was united in marriage to Linda Phillips on January 18, 1985, in Denver, Colorado. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam War, a service that underscored his deep sense of commitment and honor. Known for his competitive spirit, Jim enjoyed maintaining his yard and had a signature knack for playfully interacting with his neighbors by tossing leaves and limbs onto their lawns. Above all, Jim treasured time spent with his family, especially his granddaughter, Chelsea Underwood.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Parish of Mountain Home, AR; his daughter, Desiree Underwood of Mountain Home, AR; his son, Lance (Samantha) Parish of Mountain Home, AR; granddaughter, Chelsea Underwood of Mountain Home, AR; and his brothers, Richard "Rick" Parish and Robert "Bob" (Melinda) Parish, both of Denver, CO, along with several nieces and great-nephews.
