CASEY JAMES PATRICK Of Newtown Square, died peacefully with his family on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Bryn Mawr Hospital. He was 79. James was born on June 4, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to James Patrick and Elizabeth Casey. He was the oldest of 5 children. He was raised in Upper Darby, PA and attended St. Lawrence Catholic Elementary School and Monsignor Bonner High School where he graduated in 1960. He earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 1964 from the University of Pennsylvania. James is survived by his wife, Phyllis (nee Holtzman), of over 59 years, his 3 children - Kathleen Casey, Erin Kirk and Shawn Casey (and Jimmer Casey-deceased) and 6 grandchildren, Marley and Liam Kirk, Luigi and Hazel Giacomucci and Luke and Derek Casey. James was a long time sales representative of wastewater equipment. He also was a long time member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Newtown Square where he served as a lector for 30+ years. In recent years, James served as a member of the Rotary Club of Newtown Square. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Saturday, November 27, 2021, 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by his Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM.
