James “Buddy” Frederick Patton Jr., 55, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on February 1, 2023 in Junction. He was born on December 16, 1967 in Junction to James Frederick Patton Sr. and Josie May Miller.
Buddy was a carpenter for many years before starting his own business with his brother cutting and selling firewood. He was known as one of the firewood men of Junction. Buddy enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. Uncle Buddy as he was known, even by his teachers in high school, was loved and will be missed dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Frederick Patton Sr. and Josie May Miller; sister, Earl Dean Gillion and brothers, Archie Leon Maples and Otis Dell Maples.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory include his sons, James Koe Patton and wife, Marlie and Justin Kade Patton; brothers, Coy Patton, Bill Maples and RC Maples; sisters, Wanda Terry, Louella Carlile and Mattie Childers; grandchildren, Huntley, Jeremiah, Breken and Aiden.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Full Gospel Church in Junction with Pastor Donna Carroll officiating.
