Bro. James Pharris of Flint Springs, Kentucky passed away on February 23 at the age of 81. He was a long-time Associate Pastor at New Zion Baptist Church as well as pastor of Mt. Liberty Baptist. He enjoyed music and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son Anthony.
He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Rose, as well as a daughter Rachel (Tom), and grandson James. He is also missed by his brother Jewell Pharris and sisters Ruth Shadwick and Jeri Stanford. James was a supporter of Gideons International.
