James Phillips Obituary
James graduated from Daingerfield High School and then later attended Kilgore Jr. College, East Texas State and Paris Jr. College. He majored in Applied Science and A/C and Refrigeration Technology. He loved to be outdoors, swimming, fishing, hunting, gardening and he loved helping his mom cook. He also loved to watch the animals in the woods and feeding them.
He is survived by one brother, Tommy Phillips and an adopted daughter, Elisa Baird. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce Phillips; parents, Charles and Mary Lou Phillips; two brothers, Don Wayne Phillips, Charles Randy Phillips and one sister, Bonnie Fay McGill.
Services will be 11:00am. Saturday, September 10, 2022 in the chapel of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Michael Roberts officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Interment will be at Veal Switch Cemetery in Hughes Springs, Texas under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
