James Ferman Pride was born to Joe Frank Pride and Oma Lee Manning Pride in New Middleton, TN on November 2, 1938. He departed this life on November 19, 2023. He is preceded in death by both parents, four brothers, and one sister. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 58 years Sarah Ann Pride, devoted children Angela (Richard) Saine, Ferman (Kimberly), Lolita, Melony Pride Wade, and James (Jay); grandsons Maricus Saine, Davarius Saine, Dailynn Saine, and Ferman Pride Jr.; granddaughter Monica Wade; one great granddaughter and one great grandson; sister Janath Pride; devoted niece Yvette (Pookey) Pride; devoted nephew Ralph Lee Pride Jr; one uncle Curtis Manning; devoted best friend Billy King, and a host of other relatives, church family, and friends. Visitation with the family will be Monday, November 27 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm. Another visitation will be Tuesday, November 28 from 11:00am until 12:00pm with Homegoing service to follow. All will take place at Highland Hills. The family request that no one prepare or buy food for them, but to join them in a repass at Lolita and Melony’s home at 2921 Stanwyck Drive, 37207 after the interment at Spring Hill Cemetery.
