James Raines Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Raines and Ruby Williamson; grandparents, Holford and Annie Raines; grandson, David Randall Strange.
He is survived by his children, Jamie Raines, JoAnn Allen, Cindee (Andy) Carr; grandchildren, Huntr, Kaleb, and Kolton Raines, Morgan (Corey) Conard, Macie Dunn, Tim (Paris) Strange, Tiffany Strange; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Jolynn Raines and Paxton Strange; former wife Diane Whipple and daughter-in-law, Michelle Raines.
A special thank you to Gentiva Hospice and Staff, Reba Valentine, Jamie Raines and Whitney Douglas for the constant Care and patience with our Dad, and special friend and caregiver Betsy Stinnett.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm, Sunday, March 15, 2026, with the funeral service following at 6 pm, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be held at 11 am, Monday, March 16, 2026, in Raines and Stuart Cemetery.
