James "Randy" Randall Sauls

James Randall “Randy” Sauls, age 54, of Winfield, Tennessee, died Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, James Donald Sauls and Maggie Morrow Sauls.

Randy loved fishing, guns, riding his motorcycle, his side by side, traveling with the love of his life, his fiancé Amelia Hembree, and spending time with his beloved fur babies, Laker, and Trixie. He had many great friends, that he considered family that he enjoyed spending time with and who will miss him and mourn his passing. Randy was a kind and giving person, he always wanted to ride in the back of the group just in case anyone had trouble and needed his help. Randy professed his acceptance of the Lord into his life after the passing of his beloved mother in 2017.

He served his Country in the Army for 20 years, then went to work for the US Forestry Service as a technician for 22 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 115 and VFW Post 5669.

Randy is survived by his sons; Doctor Ryan Sauls and wife Ashley of Knoxville, TN., Garrett  Sauls and companion, Kiina of Winfield, TN., daughter; Holly Sauls and companion Caleb of Winfield, TN.,  his beloved Fiancé; Amelia Hembree of Winfield, her children that he loved as his own; Daniel Hembree and wife Jaegan of Oneida, TN., Andrew Hembree and wife Carrington of Oneida, TN., Eli Hembree and wife Shaelee of Huntsville, TN.,  and Rachel Lowe and husband Rowdie of Robbins, TN.,  grandchildren; Anastasia Sauls, Valor Sauls, Haisley Vaughan, Jensen Vaughan, Shadow Lowe, Iva Hembree, Salem Hembree, Layco Hembree and two more on the way.  Aunts; Eunice Wilson, Beulah Griffith, Jane Myers and Opal Strunk, Uncles; Jerry Morrow, Roscoe Morrow and David Morrow, along with a host of cousins.   Special friends and relatives he considered family; George Harless, Riley Lowe, Doug Piercy, Dale Anderson, Dale Byrd, Corey Wilson, Dwayne Crabtree and so many more friends, and his fur babies, Laker, and Trixie.

Visitation will be at the Pine Knot Funeral Home on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 11:00 am until time for funeral service at 1:00 pm with Brother Dustin Shannon officiating. Per Randy’s wishes, cremation was chosen, there will be a procession from the funeral home immediately following the funeral service to the crematory in Somerset, KY., with a gathering of family and friends afterwards at Murfs Gearbox in Winfield, TN.
