James J. Rizzitano

James J. Rizzitano of East Bridgewater, passed away on May 10, 2022 at the age of 76.
James was a dad/papa to everyone in his life. His family was the center of his being and spending time with them is what he cherished most. James worked as a welder and later as a Rail Car Tipper for SeMass. He had a quick wit and an infectious sense of humor. James enjoyed sitting on the deck in the sun, grabbing a nice bite to eat and simply spending time with those he loved. In his earlier years, James worked on and fixed up old cars. He had a passion for animals, especially his dogs. James will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Beloved husband of the late Ruth Rizzitano (Morrill). Loving father of Teresa "Terry" Easter and her husband Paul of East Bridgewater, Maureene Murphy and her husband Mike of West Bridgewater and the late Ellen Rizzitano. Devoted Papa of Christopher, Kaitlin, Alex, Kayla, Alyssa, Brianna, Michael, Matthew, Samantha, Jimmy and the late Nevin Michael. Proud Great Papa of Nevin James, Abel, Blake, Ashton and Landon. Pre deceased by his five siblings. Caring uncle to many nieces and nephews, especially Cheryl Rizzitano of whom was more like a daughter.
James' family would like to thank all their family, extended family and dear friends who have all been so supportive, caring and loving to James and helping to care for him these past few years. They cannot express how much you all mean to them.
A Celebration of James' Life will be celebrated Saturday, May 15th at 1pm, at 1122 Plymouth St, East Bridgewater, MA 02333
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of James may be made to the MSPCA
