James Cecil Robertson, Jr. (Jimmy), age 76 ,of Rocky Mount, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital.
He was born on June 19, 1948, to James Cecil Robertson, Sr. and Paige Louise Hunt Robertson. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Karen Jefferson Robertson; daughter, Jessica Bentley (Matt); stepdaughter, Kaelyn Dickerson (Drew); granddaughter, Kennedy Paige Bentley; and step-grandson, Everett Matthew Dickerson; sister Susan Mills; brother Ben Robertson; brother-in-law, Joseph E. Jefferson, Jr.; sister-in-law, Sharon Jefferson Frommel; special friend and great-nephew, Jordan Frommel; and several other special nieces and nephews.
He attended Franklin County High School and National Business College in Roanoke, VA; was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church and was in the Virginia National Guard. He was payroll manager for MW/Ply Gem Windows and was a dedicated employee for 38 years.
He loved to read, do crossword puzzles, and collected knives and guns. His favorite thing in the world were his three girls, Karen, Jessica, and Kennedy.
His request was to have no service.
