Lisa, Chris & Family, Terry, Doug & Family,
We are so very sorry for the loss of your daddy and granddaddy. We cannot imagine how painful it is to lose someone who was so much a part of your everyday lives. We will miss running into all of you at Walmart for the weekly shopping trips, your daddy seemed to enjoy. He always had a smile on his face no matter how long we stood and talked to each other. I didn't know him well, but I have known you two for over 30 years and you girls speak well of what parents he and your mother were. I love you, we, love you all and are so very sorry for the pain you are feeling now. We will be praying for God to fill the empty place in your hearts and lives with His love and all the wonderful memories of your daddy.
We love you, and may God Bless each of you,
Chuck and Shelby and Families

Dear Grandaddy, I am sad you are gone. I will miss you so much. It's still so hard to believe you are gone. I can't wait to see you again. For now here is my goodbye until we meet again. Love you always. Your Grandaughter.

To all the family: Of course it goes without saying, that your daddy was like a dad to me and I share your loss. I thank God for the many years we had "Mr. R." and will always cherish the many, many laugh-filled memories we shared. I will miss his asking me if I brought him any grits when I would come to visit from NC. I look forward to that glad reunion day when we shall see him again in heaven. I love you all and send my family's love and prayers. With much love, Maria, Hal, Laura, Logan, and Grace Furlough
