Funeral services for Mr. James Robinson, 92, of Ouachita Parish, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 9, 2026, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, with Rev. Norman Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Mulhearn funeral home in Monroe.
Mr. Robinson was born on March 9, 1933, and passed away on January 2, 2026. He was a member of Rowland Road Baptist Church.
Mr. Robinson served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as an electrician for IBEW Local 446 and retired from Central Electric after 70 years of service.
Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Robinson; sons, James Albert Robinson and John Robert Robinson; and his mother, Dora Allgood.
Survivors include his children, Charles Robinson, Diane Robinson Krueger, Bobby Robinson, David Robinson, Paul Robinson, and Gary Robinson; Grandchildren, Stephen Tullos & wife Heather, Tiffani Robinson, Cody Robinson, Chase Esswein, Jacob Robinson and wife Alexia, Noah Robinson, David “DJ” Robinson, Lexie Robinson, Will Robinson, Taylor Robinson, and Elizabeth Davis; Great grandchildren, Branton Tullos, Denver Tullos, Jax Robinson, Theo Robinson, and Raughzy Robinson.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Robinson, Gary Robinson, Paul Robinson, Stephen Tullos, Cody Robinson and Jacob Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Chase Esswein and Taylor Robinson.
