Jim was a mentor to me as a small business owner. He was generous with his time when I would call to ask his advice. His lifetime accomplishments as a businessman and a member of the community are admirable and inspiring.

I want to send my deepest sympathies. Mr. Rocklin touched many lives--and raised two phenomenal kids. Growing up, I was always amazed that he could balance owning a business and yet remain so active in his kids' lives. My thoughts are with the entire Rocklin family.

Jim was a true family man and he was a friendly face to all the people he came in contact with. I enjoyed each and every moment with him and he always had wisdom to share and a twinkle in his eye. He made a difference in many lives and in the community. My heart goes out to Fern, Ross, and Margo in this time of loss, but to have lived with the man must have been absolutely wonderful. He will be missed by many and we lost one of the truly great ones. Take care and all the best, Malcolm

Fern, Margo, and Ross,
I was sorry to hear of Jim's passing today. I always enjoyed chatting with him at the country club growing up as well as when Margo and Ross were in school. My thoughts are with you and your family. I wish you the best and will always keep him in high regard.

Pretty Lady: How I wish I could be with you today at the cemetery and Synagogue for the service. The weather is terrible and I am too old to try the walks, much less the streets. Just want you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Jim was such a special person, and he was lucky to have married such a very special person , you and you truly are special.. Hugs and love to you and your family. Will look forward to seeing you and chatting again at the Y and our Locker Room Talk. Hugs..................Patty Beyer.

Fern, Margo and Ross,

Joani, Rachel, Josh and I all send our deepest sympathies. In our tradition we say zichronon livracha, may his memory be for a blessing. May it be a blessing to you for memory keeps him present even though he is gone. May it be a blessing through you as you remember him and perpetuate the good example he set.
