James Ross Obituary
DOVER – James L. Ross, 92, entered into rest at 12:32 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at his home.
Born September 22, 1933 in Warrington Township, James was a son of the late James B. and Goldie I. (Harlacher) Ross.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War from 1954-1956.
James worked at York International for 30 years. He enjoyed watching old Westerns, taking things apart, playing cards and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two children, Connie M. Strine and husband, Rick of Dover and Allan E. Ross and wife, Shari of Abbottstown; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and five sisters. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two grandsons, two sisters and six brothers.
Following cremation, James' wishes were no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
