Jim Rowe Obituary

Jim Rowe, 57, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on November 26, 2025. Born on October 29, 1968, in Evanston, Illinois, he was the son of Ann Rowe and the late Robb Rowe. He was a graduate of Providence Day School and later earned his bachelor's degree from UNC Charlotte.

Jim served proudly in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant in the Special Forces (Green Berets). He completed Airborne and Air Assault training and received several commendations, including the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Joint Meritorious Unit Award, and the Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Service Star.

After his military service, Jim built a long and successful career with UPS, where he was known for his strong work ethic and leadership. He loved spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, grilling, sports, and being in the outdoors around a campfire.

Jim is survived by his partner, Elizabeth Mullane Richmond; his son, JD Rowe, and daughter-in-law, Hailey Rowe; his granddaughter, Emma Rowe; his mother, Ann Rowe; his sister, Beth Kreissl, and her husband, Brent; and his nephews, Charlie and Andrew Kreissl. He was preceded in death by his father, Robb Rowe.

A private family ceremony will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to Folds of Honor.
