God speed to a great man. I have not seen Dr. Ruby since graduating VCHS in 1980 but remember him well and from time to time I would think of him and his wonderful family. I did not know his wife Nancy made such great spaghetti and meatballs, one of my favorite dishes. God Bless and much condolences to the family.

You have our sympathy for the loss of this wonderful man. My husband, Brad, taught school and was a good friend of Dr. Ruby. Our children all went to Victory School but our youngest, Sarah, was also very fond of Dr. Ruby. When she would forget to get a paper signed by a parent she would go and visit Dr. Ruby in the principal's office and he would sign it for her! The funny part was that Brad taught in the same building but Sarah knew he would tell her that she should have had it signed the night before and maybe he would sign it and maybe he wouldn't. Sarah knew that Dr. Ruby would sign it every time because he always had her back. He will be missed by many.
