James 'Jim' Schimizzi, 76, of Saltsburg, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025. Born Nov. 16, 1948, a son of the late Joseph and Matilda Jane (Balsi) Schimizzi. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph. Jim will be greatly missed by his wife, Lorie. Children, Jamie (Derek) Basignani, Jodi (Justin) Vestrand, Melanie Boland, and Dana Kellar. Grandchildren, Nico, Elianna, Jackson, and Ben. Siblings, Jerry (Barb) Schimizzi and Donald (Lisa) Schimizzi. He will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was full of life; he served in the Navy and was the owner of Century Motors R.V. Center. When he wasn't spending time with his family, Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also spent his time with his friends at American Legion Post 18. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Legion Post 18 or any veteran charity of one's choice.
