I was very saddened to hear of Jim´s passing. He was a top-notch professional and great leader. While I did not work for Jim directly at Raytheon Aircraft, I did have a high-visibility position at one of the subsidiaries. When Jim heard about some of the challenges I was dealing with, he called me one Friday evening and gave me words of support. A true class act and Gentleman.

His life was well-lived, and everyone who knows him will remember him fondly in many special ways. My heartfelt condolences go to his wife, children, brothers, and sisters, as well as their respective families. He will leave a void in all their lives. May happy memories sustain his memory. Jim was came over when I did a six Sigma project at Plant 4 Hawker Beechcraft and I had to present he told me I should've been a Speaker which really touched my heart and lead me on to be a speaker in church which I love. Praying for the family. We thank God upon every remembrance of him, casting your cares upon God because truly he does care and this I pray that God's love may abound yet more and more and knowledge, and in all judgment, this is what he has in still in his family.

Jim lived just down the road when we were teenagers. We rode the bus and went to high school together from '68 until we graduated in 1971. I once had to wrestle Jim in gym class, at Pembroke High School in Western New York. Boy was that embarrassing, as anyone else who ever wrestled him knows well. We both moved away after high school but my positive memories remain. My condolences to his family and friends, it saddens me to say it. Jim was one of the good guys and gone too soon.

Jim worked with me very early in his career as a recruiter with Hawthorne Int´l in Stamford,CT. His dad worked for GTE in Stamford and Jim was a chip off the old block. His career was highlighted by a quick mind, practiced moves ( a wrestler´s patience) willingness to make tough decisions and a practical, team
oriented leadership style. He was an athlete and tried to stay in shape throughout his business career. A mutual friend posted me on Jim´s passing and was as shocked as I wasGod Bless you my friend!Terry

My condolences to Jim's family. While not close after he left western New York, I had the good fortune of knowing and playing on teams with him in high school. A humble leader then, as I am sure he was in his working career. Someone who 'left it all on the field' and inspired others to do the same.
So sorry to hear of Jim's passing.
