James Dennis Sharp

James Dennis Sharp, age 79, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, at his home in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. Born on May 3, 1946, in Knoxville, Tennessee, James was a beloved husband, father, and friend.
Son of Walter Hayes Sharp and Wanda Belle Hedrick Sharp, James spent his early years in Tennessee before completing his high school education at Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, California. He pursued some college studies at Cal State in Long Beach, and proudly served his country as a member of the Army National Guard.
James dedicated much of his working life to his craft as a pipe fitter with Union 469 in Phoenix, demonstrating skill and commitment in his trade. He was an active member of the Tinners Motorcycle Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he shared his passion for motorcycles and camaraderie.
On May 18, 2023, James married Eileen Sharp in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, a union that brought much joy and companionship in his later years.
James is survived by his loving wife Eileen; his children Joey Sharp, Justin Sharp, J.D. Sharp, Jr., April Sharp Parks, Jimmy Sharp, Nicole D'Souza, and Kristopher Sharp, 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was cared for in his final days by Gentiva Hospice, a testament to the support and compassion surrounding him.
His family, friends, and community will remember James for his warm spirit, his dedication to his family, and his love of life.
