James Edwin Sikes, Jr., 55, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. He was born in Dalton, Georgia, on September 29, 1969, to James Edwin Sikes, Sr. and the late Kathy Sikes.
He is survived by his daughters, Destiney (Brendan) Turner, Karrie (Alan) McCarter; brothers, Keith (Christy) Sikes, Brian (Cindy) Sikes; grandchildren, Liam Turner, Noah Turner, Adalynn “Addy” McCarter; special friend, Sherry Gourley; mother of his children, Shannon Sikes; nieces, Charity, Chelsie, Katelynn, Jessica, Brittany, Nikki; nephews, Brandon, Marcus.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons.
