It´s never easy to say goodbye. But I pray you two boys, Joey & Rusty, will always know that y´all were the best sons and caregivers to your mom, my precious sister, and now your dad!
Carole and Autis were so loved by you boys and their wonderful grand children and great grand children! Y´all kept Pops going after he loss Mimi. Y´all were always there for him! He was so loved by all his family, and it showed! He cherished every visit and every call. I know there weren´t many days you weren´t there!
And all the wonderful times with Deanna and Jennifer, especially when y´all would cook!
He was very loved by you girls and his sweet friend Jimmie Sue. Thank you for spending time with Autie. It meant so much to him.
Autis was very proud of his successful 44 years in the Alabama National Guard, but not nearly as much as he was "his boys" and grands!
I pray God gives you peace in knowing how much love and care you gave him these last years when life had gotten a little harder for him. Like it does as we get older.
You two men could not have taken any better care of your dad, and I know in my heart that your mom is so proud of you both!
Love, Aunt Putt
