James Edward "Jim" Simpson

James Edward "Jim" Simpson, 60 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Monday, July 2, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Born Wednesday, January 30, 1952, he was the son of the late Joe Edward Simpson and the late Lexie Sue Loines Simpson. Mr. Simpson was the Maintenance Manager at Caterpillar. Funeral services for Mr. Simpson will be 9:00 AM, Sunday, July 8, 2012 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Mr. Jerry Leach. Interment will follow in Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Simpson will be Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife Cathy Simpson of Dyersburg, Tennessee; five sons, Jim Simpson of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Nick Preslar of Newbern, Tennessee, Doug Preslar of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Jarrod Simpson of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Colton Simpson of Jackson, Tennessee; one daughter, Carrissa Reeves of Halls, Tennessee; two brothers, Lee Simpson of Bruceton, Tennessee and Johnny Simpson of Greenfield, Tennessee; one sister, Lisa Ann Simpson of Dyersburg, Tennessee and 14 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jim Simpson, Nick Preslar, Doug Preslar, Jarrod Simpson, Colton Simpson and Eric Warden. Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Chilcutt and Joseph Smith.
