James Smith, affectionately known as Super Jim Smith, age 92, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2023. Jim is the loving brother of Barbara (Rick) Ransom and Dorothy (Ronnie) Marino; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other family members and a host of friends. Super Jim is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Hilda Smith and his siblings Billy, Kitty, Helen, and Betty Jane.
A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, Halethorpe MD 21227 on Wednesday and Thursday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11am at Christ the Savior Church, 508 Aquahart Rd, Glen Burnie, MD 21061. Burial will follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
