He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Johnnie "Pearl" Smith. Pete is survived by their two children, Brandon (Tiffany) Smith, Laina Powers; grandson, Maxwell Smith; two sisters, Janice (Norman) Wood, Terri Ago; and a host of family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 400 Kingston Road, Lexington, KY, 40505. Visitation will be prior to the service at 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm EST and the Funeral Talk will begin at 5:00 pm EST. The family would like to thank everyone very much for all their love and support.
Care Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.
