James Snell Obituary
Jim worked for Phillips Petroleum as a plastics engineer until his retirement. In 2017, he moved to the Yukon, Oklahoma, area, where he became a devoted member of Christ's Church of Yukon. There, he faithfully served as both a shepherd and a teacher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jean Snell, and by his infant son, John Francis Snell.
Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Snell; his daughters, Jennifer Snell, Janet Erickson and her husband Doug, and Jessica Bone and her husband Phillip; and his grandchildren, Grayson Erickson, Gabriel Bone, and Nate Bone.
Memorial donations may be made to Christ's Church of Yukon, 620 W. Vandament Ave., Yukon, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Christ's Church of Yukon.
