I just found out about he passing of Staples (as we called him here at The Department of Justice). I had the pleasure of working with him many years ago at DOJ. He was s great guy, quiet, humble and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. I am so sorry for your loss and I pray that God will heal your hearts and confort you during this difficult time.

To the James T. Staples Family it is quite hard to even imagine that a good, quiet, gentle, humble and God fearing man such as him, will be more than truly missed. We here at the DHS/Records Division, whom have had the esteem pleasure of entering the building at 111 Mass., Avenue NW, but has since moved to another site remember the warm smile of Officer Staples upon entering the building on those days of working there. Be strong in the Lord and be of good courage, for He shall strengthen your hearts as you all go though this time of grieving.
