James Leonard Starkey

James "Jim" Leonard Starkey, 57, passed away December 7, 2012 at his residence in Walker, LA. He was a native of Minden, LA. He was a Paramedic and Registered Nurse for over twenty years. He was currently employed at Capital House Nursing Home and Rehabilitation as the Director of Nursing. He dedicated his life to helping others wherever he was. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Nora Starkey. He is survived by his loving wife, Shelli Starkey, two sons, James Starkey, II and his fiancé' Kristen Moak and Joshua Starkey and his wife Lindsey, his daughter Chelsea Starkey and fiancé' Shawn Henderson, all from Minden, LA; two stepchildren, Kyle and Kayla Thornton, his brother Jerry R. Starkey and his wife Phyllis, from Monticello, AR. Pallbearers will be; Patrick Rambin, Todd Jarreau, Pat Mitchell, Mickey Brown, Todd Ford and Raymond Abraham. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Seale Funeral Home Denham Springs. Visitation on Wednesday will begin at 10:00am. Bro.
