James Roger "Jim" Stepka

Stepka, James (Jim) R. Age 87 of Roseville passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024. Jim was born on January 29, 1937 in St. Paul, MN. He was a caring and loving husband who enjoyed a long and successful career at the Star Tribune. Jim liked working around his home and enjoyed meeting new people. Jim is preceded in death by parents, James and Kathryn Stepka. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Alexandra (Miller); brother, Ken (Marge) Stepka; nieces and nephews, Susan Stepka (Jim Hayes), Sharon (Chris) Richner, Karen (Rich) Austin, Barb (Louis) Turner, Rob (Lisa) Todd, Mike (Davina) Todd, Christie (Shawn) Anderson, Adam (Kyla) Todd, Margie (William) Hickey, Matthew (Bonnie) Bruich, John (Janet) Bruich, Barbara McLean; and several great-nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Amira Choice Roseville at Lexington Memory Care Team and St. Croix Hospice for their caring services. Funeral service July 10, 2024, 10AM at St. Rose of Lima, Roseville, MN with visitation one hour prior. Private burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association.
