I just came in from the garage- working on my "Mopar Man"(that was my name for Jim) motor; Well, not really working on it as it still purrs like a kitten after twenty five years, and was talking to my wife about that motor. I said, I´m not changing that(the cam shaft is an RV cam) I had that motor built- it´s a Jim Stowell motor!
The Mopar Man tore it down and rebuilt it for me, and a few years later I had one of the "Posse" install an 1989´ Throttle Body Injection on this carbureted 318. She runs great but doesn´t like to idle- runs rich.
I am truly sorry to hear of Jim´s passing. He always treated me kindly.
